1- In my opinion, these type of relationships are not inevitable in global trade. Developed countries usually have control over developing countries (in this case USA and Europe have control over China and the Indian subcontinent). Without trading goods and services between countries, global trade wouldn’t exist. China gives goods and services to the USA in exchange of money.
However USA sells these goods at a higher than they bought it to gain money. This keeps the USA to be a developed country.
Nevertheless, China could start selling their products at higher prices than they do (very low prices actually) to gain more for improving for example their living conditions. This would make USA to buy their products for higher prices, leading them to lose more money and both countries could gain equally.
2- In international relationships they don’t care about the environmental issues they make (deforestation, air pollution, etc.) or the problems that these contaminations do to people’s health. Also rich countries have access to services more easily than poor countries.
Countries only look forward to make money and not to make the world equal and good.
Good environment, human health and no gap between rich and poor countries are essential for a better world. They should play a greater role in international relationships, whatever the cost.
3- In my opinion these problems should be taken into account. All the countries in the world should stop pretending that they don’t make problems they (environmental, health damage, gaps) when they perfectly know what they cause and they just don’t care while they keep making money.
Countries should organize a meeting to talk about these problems and try to find a solution in order to have a better world for the present and future generations, because if these problems keep existing the world would turn into a horrible place.
4- One opinion that I found is that poor countries can’t keep trading in this world because they would never make progress in this ‘‘unfair world’’.
On the other hand another opinion said that poor countries have to be glad that they can do international trade as this improve a little more their economic situation.
Other opinions said that it is not helping poor countries and that in fact they are just making profit to rich countries and making more environmental contamination. Also that it exacerbate inequality.
To conclude with one last opinion, besides all these problems that global trade make it also plenty of jobs, which is good for anyone to gain money.
