Un Veneno Saludable, un cuento escrito por Marcelo Birmajer. Este gran cuento tiene un gran tema: "¿Quién quiere hacer el servicio militar?. El personaje de esta novela no, por eso decide abandonar su casa y su trabajo y convertirse en desertor. A partir de ese desvío, su vida se vuelve una extraña aventura, entre predicadores de plaza y artistas de circo y aunque es un fugitivo, tiene tiempo para el amor, que también es una huida."
            
Un Veneno Saludable es una novela centrada en el proceso de pasaje de la adolescencia a la adultez del protagonista.
El protagonista es el narrador, el tenia que ir al servicio militar pero se negó entonces se convirtió en desertor, aunque esto sea ilegal y se transforme en desertor. Esto le trajó algunos problemas, problemas como el de la ley, que no lo paraba de buscar. Él tenía una capacidad increíble, la usa por ejemplo para atraer gente, llamando la atención haciendo una gran actuación. El narrador tenia una teoría: "si uno vivia de una determinada manera, se muere. Si uno vive de una manera desconocida, capaz pase otra cosa". Durante el cuento, el narrador se da cuenta que hay que aceptar ese veneno y vivir la vida. Él se pregunta, por ejemplo, "Debo aceptar que no soy inmortal?".

En conclusión, este es un gran cuento con una serie de eventos que te mantendrá muy entretenido. Te puede dejar de enseñanza saber usar las capacidades del narrador, así podes, por ejemplo, conseguir agua gratis cómo él hizo. Tambien te enseña a mirar la vida desde un punto de vista distinto (su teoría).

The Lilac Dress

In the Language class we read a story called ''The Lilac Dress''. After reading the story, we were told to write a summary of the story. The summary must include and underline this:
-150 words.
-Connectors: 5 (five).
-Metaphors or Similes: 2 (two).
-Descriptive adjectives: 7 (seven).
-Write 3 paragraphs. (introduction, body and conclusion).

Summary of ''The Lilac Dress''

A young girl called founded a splendid dress in her grandmother's attic and time travels back to the 18th century London beacuse of the dress. There she suspect that she might had time travelled because all looked like that time. Furthermore, she discovered that since someone who sound like the queen, very elderly, called her Amelia. She didn't react at first, she reacted later. The dress she was wearing although when she time travelled had stockings stockings slightly, itchy and something really hard and uncomfortable. Besides that she tolerated it.

On the other hand, she noticed that an older women stood besides them. Her hair was styled like a wedding cake gone wrong. In  addition, a girl said ''The wedding of the year'' so Amelia asked whose wedding it was. The three people there stared at her like if she had announced she was a squirrel.

Finally, Amelia founded out that she was getting married and that she r eally time travelled. She was getting with an Earl who was one of the richest men in England.
